Laura's Sketch 18 at 2s4y and How about some Blog Candy!?!

First, here is my card for Laura's sketch 18 at 2sketches4you.....you can see the sketch HERE. I loved working with this sketch and I have a few other ideas of cards I want to make with it. I also saw on the caardvarks website that they had a challenge using polka dots and so I based the papers (background) on their challenge. I picked up two of these adorable House Mouse stamps (see giveaway below) and these Stampin' Up! papers and wanted to use them on a card and this is what I created.



Cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, oval punch, scallop edge punch, metal embellishments, sentiment, embossing powder: Stampin' Up!
Stamp: House Mouse
Ink: StazOn
MCPT and Prismacolor pencils
Nestabilities (circle and scallop circle)
thread & sewing machine
glitter glue

To celebrate my 10,000 hits on my blog and my 100th post, I bought two of these adorable House Mouse stamps.....one for me and one to give away as blog candy and some fabulous Doodlebug glitter.     Sarah, it is not a stupid question and thanks for asking. I stamped the image in black on white cardstock and then colored it in (kinda like coloring in your coloring books when you were little). The coloring technique that I used is called the Magic Colored Pencil Technique or MCPT that I learned by following a tutorial here:

    Amy - congrats on your blog hits. I "LOVE" glitter as a matter of fact growing up I was called "rhinestone _____ (last name)" and those house of mouse stamps are sooooo cute.
