What a busy and creative week I have had participating in the sketch challenges this week. In case you haven't noticed, I LOVE SKETCHES. I hadn't ever used a card sketch before I discovered
2 Sketches 4 You last year, but since then I have been trying to participate in all of the wonderful sketches
Laura and
Kazan have put out every week. This week is no different. I created this card from
Laura's beautiful sketch 35 at
2 Sketches 4 You. When I bought A Child's Year cartridge for my Cricut a couple of weeks ago, I saw that it had some great window cards on it and I have been itching to try one out and this
sketch by Laura provided me a great opportunity to do that.
Cardstock, patterned paper, stamp, inks, ribbon, border punch, and oval punches: Stampin' Up!
Card cut with Cricut and A Child's Year cartridge
Window elements cut with Cricut and the Storybook and Mini Monograms carts
Embossing with Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots embossing folder
Sewing machine and thread.
