I don't know about you, but I am ready for spring. Usually this first hits me about the middle of January, but the feeling has held off until now and I am ready for winter to be over. I created this card from the awesome
sketch by Laura this week at
2 Sketches 4 You. I used some brighter colored scraps to lighten my mood a little bit. I thought that the sketch looked like a tall card, and so my card is 4 inches by 9 inches and fits perfectly into a letter sized envelope. It is snowing here today and so my lighting isn't the best, but I was able to lighten it a little in Photoshop.
I used some dimensional adhesive to lift the flowers and center of the sun off the card a little bit....
Cardstock, ink, ribbon, embossing powder, punches, sentiment stamp: Stampin' Up!
Stamp set: Autumn Leaves
Patterned paper: Dream Street
Brad: Making Memories
I hope that you are having a great week!! Thanks for stopping by!!
