I loved playing with the wonderful stamps that MFT (My Favorite Things) provided us to use for the challenge this week at Caardvarks. It is MFT's birthday this month and we get to celebrate with them. I have seen their wonderful stamps around, but I haven't used them before now. I have always disliked the clear stamps because I find that the ink usually doesn't take to them very well and I don't get a clean, crisp image (like I always do with my rubber stamps). MFT has pleasantly surprised me with their stamps because I had a perfectly stamped image every time and I want to get some more......and soon!! =)
Here are two cards I created with the stamps they sent me. I have one more thing I want to share with you, but I think I will do a tutorial on that one, so I will post it for you soon.
Yep, those are some of my crochet flowers. ;)
For this one, I just stamped it directly onto the Kraft cardstock and then colored in the image and background with color pencils.
Thanks for stopping by!! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think....aren't these stamps fabulous?!? Don't forget to come by the Caardvarks blog and check out the current challenge, see the wonderful prize up for grabs, and to find out what the rest of the DT has created with these fabulous stamps.
Hugs,
Wow -- I love love love the colored kraft paper -- the background is to die for! You can bet I'll be copying that technique sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteLove this card and your crocheted flowers with the pearl are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love how you did the bird card right on the Kraft like that! So cute!
