Scrapbook Room Clean-out Giveaway #3

Are you having fun yet??  I am so glad that you can join me as I re-organize and clean out my scrapping stash.  I hope that you are getting ideas and that you are able to participate in my giveaways.  Today I am going to share with you my 3rd favorite new way to organize my scrapbook room.  I received some money for Christmas and with a big sale of 40% off plus an additional 25% off coupon (regular and sale prices) I was able to pick me up some Jetmax cubes.  YAY!!
I am so excited to get many of my embellishments and papers organized.  I still have a few DCWV Stacks that won't fit in here, but I will find somewhere to put them.  ;)

For today's giveaway, I have something that is a duplicate in my scrapping room.  I had one and then someone gave me one.....it is a Heidi Swapp Silhouette kit along with a pink storage box and 4 Writers Block pads.  Here is the pic of what one lucky winner will receive:

  • Leave a comment under this post telling me if you have unintentional duplicates in your stash (papers, embellishments, cartridges, etc) and how you got them.

    Hi Amy! I have duplicates of Jolee's stickers! I always seem to have more than one of a certain sticker! lol I guess they're just so cute I can't help but buy more than one! Thanks for the chance to win and kudos to you for organizing!

    Awesome give away!! I do not have any duplicates, due to hubby factor I have to watch what I spend it on very closely and unfortunately my family doesn't give me scrapping supplies. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

    I had a big giveaway on my blog last month when I cleaned up my scrap area. I had some duplicate papers, because I subscribe to 2 kit clubs and sometimes the paper overlaps. Also, I had bought an enveloper way back, but when I got a Martha Stewart scoring board I didn't need it anymore. Now the only thing I have in duplicate are my paper trimmers... mainly because I can't decide which one I like best...

    Hi Amy x I tend to have a great deal of duplicates, as I get donations from people of their surplus crafting materials towards my charity crafting, people often send the same or similiar items, the main thing is freebies in magazines, the duplicates are not a problemm whatsoever, as my charity crafting is achieved in so many different ways, free classes for elderly, cards for charity fundraising etc., that I never get tired of making the most of the precious goodies entrusted to me x Peel offs are probably the other majority of duplicates which with permanent pens can be whatever colour is needed x Leigh x

    I honestly don't have a single duplicate but then again my scrapbook stash is nowhere as big as everyone else's I've seen. I can only dream!

    Hi there! I'm fairly new to the scrapbook hobby so I don't have any duplicates yet. I can say that shopping for scrapbook items is almost more fun than creating!

    I have a few things that are duplicates, embossing folders for one. I bought a set and then i won another set! Stickers i have a ton of, i have no will power.. hehe.

    Your JetMax cubes look so cute! I wish that I had somewhere to put some of those. I don't think that I really have duplicates of anything, I'm really picky when I get stuff, so I usually know what I have. I've been buying a lot more lately though, so we'll see!     Amy I think if you have been scrapping more than a few years you will have duplicates, I do but from doing Raks etc. I have not bought anything MAJOR twice before YET so that is good. I love Jetmax too so YAY for you!

    Your scrap space is looking great! Yay for you and your Jetmax cubes! It will be so fun when you get done. I've got duplicates of some of the SU ink pads. I started out buying them on ebay then joined one of Kristen's stamp clubs and bought new ones.

    That would be perfect in my "new" space! I've gotten a couple duplicates. One I gave to a friend the other is in a box I'm holding for a blog candy on my blog. This set of shelves looks fantastic. I just started with 4 sections of those. I figure one day I'll have a whole wall!

    I have a few unintentional duplicates of paper. Mostly because I forget that I've purchased them and they are usually ones that I think I MUST have so I make sure I have them! LOL

    I love the look of your cubes. Very organized. I have duplicates of adhesive refills because i always stock up, I also have duplicate packages of Precision cut chipboard shapes by Paper Delights. These are 1200+ pieces of raw chipboard and when I ordered them I ordered 2 packs because I love the dimension chipboard can give your projects and they are alterable in so many ways.     I don't have any duplicates, my scrap-booking space is rather small...everything fits inside my craft table. Someday, I will have a crafting room of some kind. A girl can hope, right? Thanks for the give aways and I enjoy following your blog.

    I don't have any unintentional duplicates because I have an extremely small budget for crafting supplies. Before buying, I usually check my stash to see if I have something similar that will work, or something that I can alter to make do.

I have duplicate papers, stickers and other embellishments mainly because I tend to buy a couple of everything when it comes to my craft stuff so I can make multiple if an item or make pages that coordinate.

    I'm alway have duplicated for one reason or another. few months ago, I ordered a border punch thinking that it was a different one nope it was the same punch. I was following my wishlist and didn't cross it off. I'm planning to get those cubes too but haven't have a chance I will have to keep my eye open on those sale. thanks for sharing.

    Oh I did a funny one. A while back when biglots had the cuttlebug folders on sale for 2.00 I went in to get them. Well on a end cap they had paper packs for 2.00 also. Not much info on them and you could only see the first and last pages. I bought 10 and found out when I got home they had the same sheets. lol

    I usually have duplicates of stickers & stamps. I think they are so cute and I put them in a drawer and then I totally forget I have them. Needless to say, I have been working on organizing my scrap room.

    I just started putting together my scrap room, and believe it or not I have lots of duplicates! Mostly ink pads and stamps that I have collected over the years. Luckily I have a darling daughter that just started making cards and I can share with her!

    I love your JetMax set up. I hope to get my room organized soon also. Oh yea, I have duplicates. Some I bought as I didn't remember I had them and some were given as gifts. My granddaughters come over and want to scrap and I share some with them.

    I only have a duplicate of the DCWV cardstock stack in Natural and some duplicate ribbon colors. I've been thinking lately that maybe I would take a picture of my ribbon collection and cardstock because I never remember what I already have in those. Then when I'm at the store I could just refer to the pictures and only get what I don't already have.     Love the cubes. I don't think I have any duplicates yet - I just started crafting since Christmas. I am trying to organize as I go. Yesterday I made folders for my cuttlebug folders. Today I made envelope folders for my cricut handbooks and overlays. I have a gypsy so I don't need my cartridges. I do, however, look at the handbooks.

    I DO have a duplicate! Recently, I ordered some stamp sets online and accidentally clicked on one of the stamp sets twice, so it was added to my cart twice! I didn't notice until I got the stamps in the mail. :o)

    I don't have too many duplicates...I do have for some reason or another 3. yes not 2 but 3, of the cuttlebug heart blocks embossing folder...I had wanted it and had a wish list posted on the criicut messageboard and then received 2 as RAKS right after my mom bought it for me...I guess I need to have a valentine's day giveaway...lol

    Love your organizing ideas!! I've just got to put some of them into action....we move this summer so I need to "lighten the load" and I know I'll find duplicates maybe even "quadlicates" as I have 2 boys and things I buy for them I usually buy 2 of anyway.....

    As I have been sorting my paper, I have found a few duplicate paper stacks, some intentional and some were received as gifts. Usually I can find a use for duplicate papers though as I do quite a bit of card making and other paper crafting.

    I have a Sizzix die that I had been wanting and looking at forever. Well, I finally bought it and when I got it home, I found that I had already bought it on one of my previous trips. I always looked at it, but I didn't remember actually buying it! Haha. I also have some duplicate colors of stickles -- guess I really liked 'em!

    I have a few duplicates. I must be getting forgetful (or disorganized) as I bought an adhesive refill which I needed. I got home and found out that I had already bought one. I also have 2 packs of the same paper and have bought the same ribbon.

    I think my disorganization is the reason for these duplicates. I'm in the process of getting everything organized.

    Love thecubes. I have them too. I wish my craft room wasn't also the study and exercize room. I have duplicate decorative scissors. I got a set at costco and I already had some of the same.

    I don't tend to have duplicates as I'm just starting out building my stash of papers, embellishments and tools etc, so have a pretty good idea of what I already have.
