Scrapbook Room Clean-out Giveaway #4

Hello everyone, how are you doing today??  Here is another of my new favorite ways to get organized in my new scrapbook room....this is how I plan to organize my ribbon and tools.
I went to Home Depot and purchased this peg board for only $12.48 + tax.  It was a very large 4 x 8 foot sheet and they cut it down at Home Depot to the exact size I needed for FREE.  My husband found some floor moulding in the garage (remember his equivalent to my scrapbook room) and made a frame around it for me.  I really like how I can arrange (and re-arrange) the pegs to just how I want it.  I just LOVE it!!  I plan on putting some excess ribbon on rings and hanging them on the pegs in the empty space.  Anyone have any ideas on where to pick up some rings to tie my ribbon on??  I was thinking key rings, maybe..........  I hope to have it filled to share with you when I show you pics of my completed room.

The giveaway today is for a Fastenator with a new set of 48 decorative staple bars......

    You can find the key rings or something similar at JoAnn's. I used the same rings for my ribbon, but instead of tying the ribbon onto the rings, I sorted them by alpha order in color; then attached each one to a safety pin, then hooked the safety pins to the ring. I really like it organized that way, and I hung it all behind my scrap room door so no one has to see it all! haha! I am happy for you to get all of this put together. Good for you. Also, I have a fastenator...but I wanted to leave you a comment on the rings. Good luck finding them!

    Your peg board looks exactly like mine. My husband framed it just like yours and I love it also. Check on ebay....you can usually get a lot of them for real cheap. I got all my hooks from ebay and they are all different sizes. Love them.

    You can put all of the ribbon on a doll rod and then just pull and cut.

    The one paper crafting item i could never live with out is my Cricut. I am in love with it. I use is for everything I do!

    Love your peg board! I want one of these to store my tools on, but have only looked at Lowe's and they are more expensive than that. I'll have to look at Home Depot. Thanks for the giveaways and the tips!

    My favorite tool right now is my We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy I got for Christmas - I love all the stitching I can do now.

    Hi Amy x my favourite crafting tool is my purple cow double cutter with guillotine one side and cutter the other, it holds the paper/card in place and I can change the blades on my cutter to shaped ones x couldnt live without it! x Leigh x

    My scrubby put up a smaller version of your peg board idea for a friend who needed to maximize storage space. Works great.

    My favorite can't live without crafting tool would be my paper cutter. I love how I can measure and cut with one tool!

    Peg board is awesome!!! I created my own version of a ribbon ring but punching slots in cardboard floss bobbins and threading the ribbon through it and then hang each one on binder rings I got a Office Max in color families. HTH! Love seeing your room come together!

    My go-to paper crafting tool is my paper trimmer. I can NOT cut in a straight line unless I'm using my trimmer. It also doubles as my scoring board to make the folds in my cards and envelopes.

    I'm so excited for your new scrapbook room. It's going to look so great! Thanks for sharing all your organizational tips!

    Your peg board looks great! I use one too and love that you can change things around when you want to. I guess my favorite tools for scrapbooking would be my computer, for the inspiration and my cricut.

    my most "go to" crafting tool is definitely my exacto knife. I use it literally every time I go to craft and I don't know there's ever been a time I haven't used it. And it's stood the test of time because I've been using it for probably close to 10 years and I haven't had to change the blade yet! Thanks for the giveaway!

    My favorite craft tool would have to be my Score Board. I use it weekly and it makes all my folds look so much nicer.

    Great idea. You are inspiring me to get my stuff organized. I would have to say that my favorite tool at the moment is my i-rock. I love my Gypsy too, but my i-rock is a go to thing at the moment.

    The pegboard is a great idea, but he finishing touch is really the wood border. Great job...
    The favorite thing I can't live without is my Cricut Expression and my tweezers.

    Your pegboard turned out really nice! How nice of hubby to make the frame! :) My husband is not really into woodworking..so I would have to get my son if I wanted anything made.
    My favorite crafting tool...that I couldn't live with out is definitely my Cricut...second would be the Cuttlebug! I loveeee embossing!

    My favorite and only crafting tool is a pair of sharp surgical scissors. I wouldn't be able to do fine cutting without them.

    Hello I am a new follower. i like the rings that are used for index cards. My son uses them for his spanish flash cards. I loop my riboon around a paperclip then put the paper clip on the ring. These rings open on a hinge and you can get them at office supply stores

    Hey a Fastenator would be great. I own a few of the staples, that I figured I could just use my paper piercer and my fingers!
    My favourite tool is my Cropodile. I just purchase the corner rounder, and I think that will be a close second.

    Love the peg board storage idea... simple but effective and practical.

    My fave tool is my Martha Stewart Doily Lace Border Punch. I reach for it all the time as it dresses up a card instntly and adds a touch of elegance.

    The Fastenator looks like a fun tool too.

    You can tie ribbon on to paper rings - the metal kind that sometimes "bind" chipboard albums. They're inexpensive and come in multiple sizes and can be found in office supply stores or sections of other stores.
