Flower Power Blog Hop with ScrapbookPal

It is time for another blog hop with the ScrapbookPal design team.  This time we are celebrating spring with flower inspirations.

Here is my card with the flowers that I created from the Paisley cartridge.

I misted the pink flowers with a little water after I cut them out from the Paisley cartridge (button feature) in four different sizes.  I then used a small rounded object (like an embossing stylus) to curve the petals while they were still damp.  I glued the four different sizes together and then I misted them with a little Glimmer Mist and then let them dry.  I added a button to the middle and then adhere it to my card.  The background paper is just printed from my computer and misted with some more Glimmer Mist.  I cut the dragonfly from Lyrical Letters (I used vellum for the wings) and the circle card is just two circles that I welded together with my Gypsy.  I used ribbon for the stems on my flowers and the sentiment is a SRM Sticker adhered over a small area that I painted with a little bit of white acrylic paint.

I hope that my card has you ready for spring.  Don't forget to leave a comment here and on the rest of the design team member's blogs for your chance to win a cartridge of your choice from in-stock cartridges at ScrapbookPal.  Did you know that ScrapbookPal offers free shipping on all orders over $25?  They have a fabulous selection of Cricut cartridges, and so many other fabulous scrapping items that they ship quickly, right to your door.

Lets hop on over to the next blog to see what Tomi has posted for us.  When you are done with the blog hop, come back and check out the blog candy I am offering, too.  Here is the blog hop list in case you get lost along the way:
