Merry Christmas!!

They day is finally upon us......all the planning and celebrating over the last few weeks will culminate tomorrow.  I have had fun making some neighbor gifts that I have been giving away this year.  I got the idea from How Does She to make these fun blocks of wood cut from 2x4's.  I covered them with Mod Podge and paper and then added some vinyl sentiments that I cut on my new Cricut Mini and the Cricut Craft Room. On the front of them it says "Merry Christmas" (Teresa Collins Christmas Sentiments) and the back has "let it snow" (Cricut Alphabet) so that they can display it in their house all winter long.
The treats that are wrapped up are Oreo Pops the I made and covered in chocolate.  I found a tutorial on how to do these on How Does She.  Believe me you want to follow the tutorial or else you will not be able to put the suckers in without breaking the cookie and then they won't be very pretty.

I used the Cricut Imagine and the Imagine More cartridge to print and cut the tags for them:
I added some stamps from My Craft Spot (From:) and Stampin' Up! (candy) and then some of the lovely bakers twine from The Twinery all topped off with a button.

So, are you all ready for Christmas??  I am all ready and can't wait to spend the next two days with my awesome family.  I hope that you have a very merry Christmas filled with family, friends, fond memories and the spirit of Christ!! ♥

Hugs,
Amy

  1. Lovely - wish I'd taken the time ( or should that be; scrabbled around to find some extra time ) to make something like this. Very cute.
Happy Christmas to you and your neighbours who'll love these treats :-)
