Hey friends!! So many things going on today, but I just wanted to pop in and share a project that I made for Jinger Adams to take and share with a local show earlier this week. She asked the design team to create anything with flowers in all different sorts of material, so I made this fun notebook with denim flowers......
Those sweet little flowers are cut with My Creative Time's Rolled Flower Die. It didn't cut all the way through on some areas of the flower because of how thick the denim is, so I just used a small pair of scissors to finish the cut. I then rolled them up and added some hot glue to hold them together. The "notes" was cut with my Cricut machine and the bakers twine is from The Twinery. Here is a close-up:
I would love it if you hopped on over to Jinger's blog and left a little love for me there under the post with my project.....she is giving away a paper stack from DCWV for all the comments left under the Denim Flower Notebook post on her blog.
Also, don't forget to check out the projects made by the other designers there....there were so many great ideas shared. Jinger will be having giveaways under them all for the next week or so. Here is a video of Jinger's appearance on Studio 5. Can you spot my notebook?

Measure your notebook and cut a piece of patterned paper to fit the
front, leaving a little room at the spine for the wire. Sew around
patterned paper using black thread and a sewing machine. Die cut 5 denim
flowers with a flower die and your die cut machine and glue together
with hot glue. Adhere to the front of your notebook with hot glue. Add
white cardstock strips and black letters to spell out "notes." Tie
bakers twine around the patterned paper just under the denim flowers.
Adhere all to the front cover of your notebook.
Here is how I made this project:
MATERIALS:
Spiral bound notebook
Patterned paper
White paper
Black Die cut letters or stickers
Lightweight denim
Flower die
Manual die cut machine
Sewing machine and thread
Bakers twine
adhesive
