Missing You!! PDCC154

Hi everyone!!  We woke up this morning to a beautiful blanket of snow......along with many downed tree limbs and my poor broken lilac bush.  I sure hope it can recover because I love my lilacs in the spring.


Having a snowy day, I was able to spend a little time in my crafting room and was able to get a card complete for The Play Date Cafe's 3rd Anniversary Celebration........
For my card, I thought it would be fun to ink up an embossing folder and create my own inked and embossed background paper.  So very pretty!!  I also crinkled come cardstock and ruffled it along the bottom of the card in three rows.  I made the flower with the Flower Petal Dies from My Creative Time and added it to the bow I tied with ribbon.
For the sentiment, I added on of the Tiny Tag Greetings to the Just Simply Live die and folded it in half over a straight pin with a pearl head.

    Amy ~ this is so GORGEOUS!! I LOVE the embossing, BEAUTFIUL flower, the inking and oh my the ribbon!!! Oh no your poor bush! I hope it recovers too!!! UGH ~ snow already!!

    I can't believe the snow! I live in the mountains and it's 78 degrees today! I hope your lilac survives.
    This card is lovely and whimsical, with it's "sash" and "ruffled skirt"!
