Have you played along with the May Flowers Challenge over at The Twinery Blog??
It is the last day to get your card uploaded into The Twinery Gallery for this super fun Challenge. I love to crochet and make cards, too, so to combine the best of both worlds, I created this crocheted flower card using bakers twine to shave over on The Twinery blog today......
I used the Strawberry, Cantaloupe, Lilac, Cappuccino, and Peapod bakers twine on my card. The flowers, stems and leaves are simply crocheted with single crochets and chains. I also added a strip of adhesive to the base where the flowers are and added some scraps of the Peapod bakers twine for grass. Here is a closer look......
I used some SRM Stickers for the sentiment for my card. I created the cloud background with a die cut cloud piece from My Creative Time and blending blue inks around the edges of it. I finished off the card with a little more bakers twine and buttons.
I hope you can join us for this great challenge.....check out the prize that you could win for participating:
