I have some fun little treat boxes to share with you today that I created with the Cake Pop Treat Holder box from SVG Cutting Files, except, I used mine to hold bags of Swedish fish......
I decorated these with the Sea Life animals and the coral and starfish from the Mermaids file. I added a little bit of inking to each piece for more dimension. The faces are from the June 2012 SOTM (one of my very favorites) from Peachy Keen Stamps. I added some chalking to the cheeks and white pen to fill in the eyes. Here is a little bit of a closer look at each one......
I was able to cut the treat box as large as I could to measure about 6 1/2 inches tall by 2 inches wide and 2 inches deep (the largest I could get it on my Cameo 12x12 mat). I covered the front with embossed and sanded Core'dinations cardstock. The sun is cut from a Silhouette file....I added some glitter to the center of the sun with Stickles. I tied the box up with some Flax and Denim bakers twine from The Twinery.
To the inside of the box, I added a bag and some bulk Swedish fish. Here is a peek inside......
There is a fab giveaway going on for everyone that leaves comments along the hop......two $35 Gift Certificates are up for grabs (one from Peachy Keen Stamps and one from SVG Cutting Files). So, don't forget to leave a comment.
Now it is time to hop on over to Gwen Lords' blog to see what she is sharing with you today. Have fun!!
Hugs,
Amy
