Hey everyone!! Today is the fourth day of the new releases for June at Peachy Keen Stamps. This release has so many fun stamps....it was hard to pick what I wanted to create with. Today I am sharing the Rock A Hula and Tropical Floral stamp sets.
I used my Martha Stewart fringe scissors to cut the fringe at the bottom of the card. I stamped and heat embossed the pink background with the Tropical Floral stamp set. I love the glossy look!! I then stamped and colored the hula girl from the Rock A Hula stamp set with my Copic markers. I also added some white pen details to her. Here is a closer look....
I put the hula girl on an Action Wobble so that she wiggles like the hula girls that people buy to put on their dashboards in their cars........love it!! Here is a shot of her in 'action'.....
Have you seen all the wonderful projects that have been completed by the rest of the design team?? Hop on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps blog to check out all the great inspiration and then join us tomorrow for a super fun release party at the Peachy Keen Stamps .ning site. I am hosting a challenge and there will prizes up for grabs.
Hugs,
Amy
Super cute, love the green fringe and embossed pink background!!
ReplyDeleteLove your Hula girl Amy! That grass effect across the bottom is SO clever, as is putting her on an action wobble! What a great idea for mimicking the hula! Love it! xxx
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is wonderful and I love the floral background you made. Putting your girl on a wobble is perfect. Love the action picture.
