August Release with The Craft's Meow {Day 3}

Yay!!  Another fun day of release sneak peeks at The Craft's Meow blog.  Today we are showcasing two new sets designed by Nina Brackett called Folk Art Blooms and Jar of Sunshine and I have two cards to share that use these lovely sets.....first up is the Jar of Sunshine peek.....

I used my Copic markers to color in the jar and the yellow roses.  I layered them on a Stitched XL Label die cut from My Creative Time.  I used papers from Hello Sunshine by MME.  I finished off the card with some stitching, button, ribbon, and a little twine.  Here is a closer shot....

Up next is the very CAS card I created with the Folk Art Blooms set......

I used two tones of ink....first a lighter tone and then I tried to add a little bit of texture by using the edge of the stamp and ink pad to get some darker tones in there.  I used a sentiment from the Chose Hope set that we peeked at yesterday.  Here is a closer shot of my card.....

I added some paper piercing along the edges and rounded the corners.  I added a little bit of simple hemp twine around the card under the sentiment to finish it off.
