Birthday Puppy - Day 4 Sneak Peek with Peachy Keen Stamps

Today is the final day of sneak peeks for the August release with Peachy Keen Stamps over at the Peachy Keen Stamps blog.  I am excited to share this super cute puppy card using the August Stamp of the Month.  My little man has a birthday at the end of this month and created this card with him in mind.

 The card and circle layers are cut with my Cricut with the Gypsy to weld them together and the Cricut Basics cartridge.  I used my Copic markers to color the stamped images and added some white pen highlights.  The puppy background is stamped with the new Dog Background stamp set from Peachy Keen Stamps and then heat embossed it.  Here is a closer look at the images.....

 The wood flooring is just strips of cream colored cardstock that I embossed with a Sizzix woodgrain embossing folder and then added ink to the edges and raised areas.  For the bone gift, I added some Solid Denim bakers twine from The Twinery and then used foam adhesive for added dimension.  Hop on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps blog to check out the rest of the sneak peeks (all for days are up) and don't forget to join in on the release party tomorrow over at the Peachy Keen Connection.

    I like how different you can color this puppy...so fun to see all of the ways the coloring can be done. This is such a cute stamp set and I love the background stamps. Super card!

    Oh Amy! Your circle card is just amazing! Your puppy is as cute as a button and the texture you've achieved is fabulous! The bone wrapped up as a gift is adorable too and the floorboards are genius! xxx
