Pinterest Inspired Art with The Twinery

Hello!!  Today I get to share a project over on The Twinery blog for the current challenge which is Inspired by Pinterest.  I am not {quite} addicted to Pinterest, but I love going through and looking at all the wonderful and inspiring pictures and projects there.  If you would like to follow my boards, CLICK HERE.

Today I have a shadowbox frame that I created to share with you.....

Here is the PIN that I was inspired by to create my project.......these lovely little atc cards from Donna Downy:

My shadow box measures 12x12 inches.  The four square panels that I used are about 4x4 inches.  I used my Cricut to cut out the die cut images and a couple of punches.  The bakers twine from The Twinery is in these colors: Solid Blossom, Solid Caribbean, Solid Marigold, and Solid Honeydew.  I also used some SRM Stickers for the inspiring words.  The pattern paper I used is from Echo Park.  Take a closer look at each of the four panels.....

I used some foam adhesive under each of the panels as well as some of the elements (sometimes double foam) to give it lift within the shadowbox frame.

So, what do you think??  I hope that this has inspired you to pull out some of that bakers twine and create something awesome based on what you saw on Pinterest......don't forget to link it up over on The Twinery blog for our Inspired by Pinterest Challenge for a chance to win a Solid Sampler Pack from The Twinery.  I hope you have a great inspiring weekend!!

Hugs,
Amy

Oh, yeah......don't leave your projects sitting around after you take pictures of them.  While I was checking to make sure I had good shots of the project, my kids decided that it would be fun to get into a fight right next to it and this is the result within 10 minutes of shooting the above pictures.......

So glad that my initial shots of this turned out great.  Now, I am off to find a new 12x12 piece of glass.
