Hello and welcome to my stop on the August Blog Hop with The Craft's Meow. If this is your first stop, hop on back to the Craft's Meow blog to get all the details and to get started on the hop.
This month, we are sharing Summer themed cards (and collect all the ideas you can because what I hear there will be a special challenge to go along with this blog hop). My card today uses the Life is a Carnival stamp set.
I created the main stamped panel by stamping with a clear embossing ink onto a glossy white cardstock and then heat embossing it. After it was cooled off, I added some color to the glossy cardstock with ink pads from SU! and ink daubers. I used a damp paper towel to wipe the ink from the embossed area and this is what is left......
I really like the softness of it and it reminds me of cotton candy!! The papers I used are from MME 6x6 Vanity Fair paper pad. I finished it off with some ribbon, button, and twine along with little bit of stitching with my sewing machine.
Now, what fun is a blog hop without a fun prize?!? This month, we are challenging you to use your TCM stamps and you can have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to The Craft's Meow. Check out all the details and how to link up along with the full blog hop line-up on The Craft's Meow blog.
Now it is time to hop on over to Angi's blog to see what fab creation she is sharing with us. Have fun and don't forget to leave a comment below.
Hugs,
Amy
