Hey everyone!! Have you been enjoying the sneak peeks so far this week for this special Christmas release from The Craft's Meow?? I am having so much fun with these sets and today is extra special because we are taking a peek at TWO of the new sets.......first up is Holiday Poinsettia by Nina B Designs.......
For my card, I colored the poinsettia image with my Copic markers. I added my choice of sentiment in the frame and then also stamped a postage stamp image in the upper right corner. Take a closer look at this fabulous poinsettia image......
I added some stitching to my card with my sewing machine. The patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye 6x6 All is Bright paper pad. To finish off my card, I distressed the edges of the papers a little bit and added some lace, ribbon, twine and a button.
Up next is a card that I created with the Inside Christmas stamp set by Karen Baker......
This set is perfect for stamping inside of cards, but it also makes a great sentiment for the outside. Here is a closer look at the stamp that I used from this set.
I used my Cricut and the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut out these little trees. I added some embossing with my Cuttlebug. To finish off the card, I added some hand stitching around the outside edge as well as on the trees with some embroidery floss.
The patterned paper is from a My Mind's Eye 6x6 Christmas paper pad. I added the inside of the doily that I cut the circle out of for THIS card earlier this week and finished it off with a little bit of ribbon and a button.
Hop on over to The Craft's Meow blog to check out what the other designers have been creating with these two sets and leave a comment over there for your chance to win one of these wonderful sets. Don't forget that we have a big blog hop tomorrow with the design team. Join us because you won't want to miss out on the chance to win this entire release!!
Hugs,
Amy
Beautiful cards...love the poinsettia!!!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous, Amy! Love that first one especially with the little touch of lace!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards! I especially loved the poinsettia card! Love the stitching on both!
ReplyDeleteThe coloring on your Poinsettia is so pretty. I like how you gave it dimension. Love the ribbon and lace. The sentiment is a great looking font. I like that you used a doily cut left over and the hand stitching is great. I like the dots for the trees...dresses them up nicely. That is one nice sentiment and looks beautiful how you framed it. Wonderful job!
