Hey friends!! As we get ready for the give Thanksgiving day here in the US....which happens to be my favorite holiday, I created a centerpiece for our Thanksgiving table.
The cornucopia and little pumpkins are cut from files in the Silhouette store. I used a straw covered wreath and wrapped it in burlap and then covered it with leaves cut from my Cricut. I inked the leaves by folding them in half and then inking all the way around them. I then pinned them to the straw wreath .
In the center, I used a cake platter and added a brown doily cut again with the Silhouette. I tied some ribbon around the top of the cornucopia I inked all of the pieces with the Chestnut Roan Cat's Eye ink pad for a rustic look.
For the little pumpkins, I added some little butter mints to the inside and then tied them all up with some Flax bakers twine from The Twinery and added some little tags from the Teeny Tag Greetings set by My Creative Time. On each of the tags, I put something that I was thankful for like friends, family, etc.
Here is how I have it displayed on a mirror over my fireplace until the big day. If you live in the US, how are you celebrating?? If you live elsewhere, what kind of holiday do you celebrate with your family and friends that involves a great big feast??
Hugs,
Amy
Gorgeous, love your centerpiece and wreath!!
ReplyDeleteOh Amy this centerpiece/wreath is beyond gorgeous girl! I just LOVE this!!! It's sooo beautiful! I am just curious how long that took to make! It looks like it was a project that would have taken me days if I tried this LOL Just cutting out those leaves and inking them up alone must have taken a good amount of time. But no matter how much time went into making it, I say it was well worth it girl! This is absolutely gorgeous! Your family will absolutely love this!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
