August 2014 Release Day at Taylored Expressions

Hi and welcome to my stop on the August 2014 Release Blog Hop with Taylored Expressions.  Have you been watching the sneak peeks this week for this release??  Aren't the sets all fabulous??  For my card today, I used the In Other Words - Travel stamp set....take a look:

The suitcase image and sentiment are from the In Other Words - Travel stamp set.  I stamped them on some of the Choice Buttercream cardstock that I die cut with the Banner Stacklets 2 die.  I colored in the image with my Copic markers and then mounted it on an A2 card with some Urban Traveler paper from Simple Stories.  Here is a closer look at my card.....

To finish off my card, I added a bit of zig zag stitching with my sewing machine, some ribbon and a button.

        Beautiful card, Amy. I love the stitching at the top (it adds a lovely vintage look to your card). And your coloring is beautiful and detailed. Thank you for the inspiration.
